Job Description

The Business:

An exciting and growing North West based refurbishment contractor operating across the region out of offices in North Liverpool and Greater Manchester are working on several roofline and re-roofing schemes in 2017 and are experiencing some exciting growth as well as a healthy order-book in the coming 18 months.

We are looking for a long term freelance site manager to support the team and the business in delivering high standards of work and service on what will be exciting upgrade projects to social housing (houses, flats and high rise apartments) in Greater Manchester as part of the Decent Homes initiative.

Your duties as a Site Supervisor will include:

* Managing labour teams (including semi-skilled and skilled trades such as joiners, plumbers etc.) and delivering quick turnaround work streams
* Ensure safe operations on site in conjunction with the Health & Safety policy
* Keep sites to schedule and to cost
* Liaise with clients and subcontractors as appropriate

Your skills and experience required:

You'll need to hold an SMSTS, along with First Aid, and demonstrate experience of managing teams of trades staff and labourers (either as a supervisor or assistant site manager). Experience on roofing work (including EWI, roofline, cladding) will be ideal, but any external work (planned or reaxctive) in your background will be considered.
