Assistant Quantity Surveyor

My client are a north west leading, specialist interiors sub-contractor providing expertise across all aspects of dry lining, plastering, flooring, ceilings, rendering, steel framing systems, and fire protection services.

They have worked alongside a number of leading main contractors and developers, gaining an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects across predominantly the commercial and high-rise apartments / student accommodation sectors, with subcontract values of up to £5m.

They are growing as a business and with a range of exciting new projects secured, they are looking for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with an experienced commercial team on a range of large projects across the Manchester and surrounding areas.

Duties to include:

* Working on a range of plastering and drylining / interiors projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
* Assisting with reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
* Assist in evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes.
* Developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
* Aid in conducting estimation tasks to ensure accurate project cost predictions.
