That sounds great… but what is the REC and what does it mean that Building Careers UK is a member?

The REC is the professional body for recruitment organisations across the UK, and acts as a voice for the recruitment industry, providing support and advice to businesses like ours.

Being a member means that Building Careers complies with the REC Code of Professional Practice and that we have passed the Compliance Assessment. This Code helps recruiters make sure we are doing things the ‘right’ way – far beyond legal obligations. It tells our clients and candidates that uphold the highest industry standards.

We display the REC logo as a badge of honour and have done for over a decade.
