Fantastic Opportunity for a 3D CAD Technician for a role in a Multi-Disciplined Building Consultancy based in Manchester.

My client are a National Building Consultancy who are highly known as one of the most highly-regarded consultancies in their industry. They require a 3D CAD Tech to assist them complete the 3D drawings that can be used in their Daylight and Sunlight simulators in order to offer a resolution of the case in question.

The office that has been acquired in Manchester is right in the heart of the city. With a fit-out completed at the beginning of the year by an extremely well-known interior designer, the office is an extremely nice place to be in.

The CAD Tech as part of their role will be responsible for creating large 3D models of Buildings in order to provide assistance to the Consultants with their work. The organisation have recently created a full 3D render of London that has been used on multiple films to assist with the CGI. They have also worked on several large well known projects in London including the Shard, the Walkie Talkie, Canary Wharf, The Gherkin and Lord's Cricket Ground. These projects show the prestige of the organisation, having worked on some of the UK's landmark projects, the organisation's name holds extremely high regard within the market, which with your assistance will be projected into the Manchester market.

The role is extremely interesting and gives you a fantastic insight into a little-known industry that plays a large part in the lives of anyone who lives or works within a large built up area. It should be noted that the role will not be design based - purely re-creating current landscapes with the addition of the proposed project design.

They require CAD Technicians with 3D CAD experience used in a working environment. They are happy with minimal 3D experience as long as your only source of experience isn't University. They are also offering a fantastic opportunity to gain on-the-job experience. If required, 3 months of training will be provided in their London office, working with their team of experienced CAD Technicians assisting with 3D CAD, complex 3D renders and information on how to assist the Consultants.
