We are currently looking for an experienced administrator who has gone basic knowledge of working within HR or has a keen interest to work within that field.

It is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and become part of a forward thinking company, you will be working for a very successful construction company who has projects across the globe and have become very busy in the North West area.

You will be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload throughout the day, excellent communication is required written and verbally and must be reliable and remain focused under pressure.

This position is based at Manchester airport which is their North Wests head office, below is details of your day to day duties.

* Providing basic advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes - ensuring best practice
* Having a good understanding of HR practices as well as basic knowledge of employment law and employee relations
* Assisting the HR team with the coordination of the recruitment process, including; maintaining the website, corresponding with applicants, liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating interviews, compiling and issuing offer letters and contracts of employment, checking of references and qualifications etc
* Preparing monthly HR and People Data
* Managing the day to day HR administration duties, providing support to the team as necessary
* Preparing the monthly attendance report for HQ, as necessary
* Managing the Careers and HR inboxes and actioning accordingly
* Responsible for all associated administration and coordination of new starters and leavers - creating EE files on Cascade, administering the end of probation process, acknowledging receipt of resignation letters, scheduling exit interviews etc
* Monitoring the processing of sickness and absence - ensuring that the relevant management procedures are being followed
* Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
* Coordinating meetings, interviews and parking with the Admin Team
* Assisting the HR team with the management of mandatory training (reviewing, booking, liaising with employees and managers and the training provider), collating training data for the CITB levy as and when required
* Main point of contact for Cascade (HR system) - ensuring it is accurate, regularly reviewed, and updated, assisting with the provision of training to our employees on the HR system, supporting employees and managers on using the system, carrying out audits and transferring/updating employee data
* Undertaking ad hoc HR projects both independently and as a team
* Taking minutes at meetings as and when required
* Coins - PO's/invoices for HR

This is a permanent, full time position Monday to Friday.

Parking is limited so must have access/routes to public transport due to location.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
