Architectural Technician

Salary: Up to £45K + package benefits (incl. company bonus scheme, pension scheme, Company car plus fuel card or car allowance, healthcare, etc.)

A UK house builder are currently looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join their busy Technical team.

This residential developer have been established for over 10 years. My client is a privately owned Company building new homes across the Midlands, North West & South West England and North Wales and the head office is in Ellesmere Port.

The successful candidate will have experience as an Architectural Technician working directly for a volume housing developer or private practice.

Main purpose of the role:

* The main purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of complete, high quality and accurate house type working drawings & details.

Key accountabilities:

* Manage the house type portfolio for new sites
* Produce architectural detailing where non-standard
* Deal with site queries
* Assist the sales team in producing sales & marketing material
* Ensure the quality of architectural information provided both internally and externally is of the highest standards.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

* High level of interpersonal skills and a professional attitude to work;
* Excellent architectural and building regs knowledge - particularly house types;
* Experience of managing consultants

Key Attributes:

* Confident use of Autocad
* Self-motivated;
* Enthusiastic.
