An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to join a boutique Architecture and Design practice in their Oldham office, with an exciting, tailored path to directorship for the right candidate.

My client are considered market leaders in the hospitality and leisure sector, with an excellent record in delivering fit-out and design services on projects nationwide. This firm is a close-knit group of employees with a collaborative culture and a strong emphasis on open communication to ensure workplace satisfaction. The directors are involved in all aspects of project work and provide support to less experienced staff whilst also allowing them the freedom to demonstrate their initiative.

The Architectural Technician / Technologist role itself will provide excellent workplace variation with exposure to project management and site visits within a fast-paced environment. You will be working predominantly on fit-out projects with elements of structural fit-out and new build construction. You will produce high quality technical drawings using AutoCAD and be an instrumental part of coordinating the construction on site, making quick decisions to ensure the project is delivered efficiently.

The right candidate will be a proactive and adaptable individual with extensive experience working within the hospitality and leisure sector, delivering projects with a quick turnaround. Full AutoCAD proficiency is vital and strong experience of producing interior drawings using SketchUp would also be beneficial. It is important that you are a vocal, confident communicator so as to ensure that projects are managed effectively.
