Assistant QS - House Builder

Job Description

I'm exclusively working with a house builder based in Warrington recruiting a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

You will have a distinct advantage against other candidates having experience working for a house builder but they would not discount a qualified QS.

They are looking for someone experienced in the following:

* Site Measurement
* Drawing Take Off's
* Valuation Completion
* Checking Drawings against Budgets
* Liaising with Clients and Sub Contractors
* Sending out Sub-Contract Enquiry Packages
* Sub-Contract Comparisons
* Collating info for CVR reports

The successful candidate will be mentored by a Senior Quantity Surveyor on the development. You will be challenged at times and will need to be forward thinking in order to keep up with the pace of the projects.

The role of Graduate/Assistant Residential quantity surveyor will expose you to procurement, cost control, subcontractor management and contract variations. You will be working alongside senior surveyors and operational staff with years of industry experience, exposing you to on the job training, with great opportunities to progress up the ranks.
