About the role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with their duties as well as undertaking your own minor contracts. Learning as you go they would look to develop you on a path that was right for you and at a pace right for you.

You'll be offered exposure to the Group's portfolio of developments which range from purpose-built cluster flats and studios, to refurbishment projects and mixed-use schemes. Strategic choice of locations, coupled with cutting-edge design and exceptional build quality are the cornerstones of their success

What you'll be doing

Your working week will involve spending three days on site, liaising with sub-contractors and measuring materials and quantities by analysing drawings, with the remaining two days a week being spent in the office in Warrington, where you'll work on preparing subcontract orders for approval by the Senior Quantity Surveyor as well as preparing subcontract payments with current contracts and final accounts.

Who we're looking for

There looking an ambitious, proactive, positive person who enjoys problem solving and is happy to work UK wide. Ideally you will have 1 to 2 years' hands on experience working as a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor and have hands on, proactive approach to work.

Working with your line manager and the in-house Training and Development we'll create a development plan tailored to you enabling you develop your skills and knowledge while gaining valuable experience.
