Job Description

As a key member of the Asset Compliance team, the Building Safety Manager will ensure that the organisation remains compliant with the Building Safety Bill.

The role holder will lead on policy and procedure setting, undertake co-ordinator duties for all high-risk buildings (HRB's) in the organisations portfolio, ensure the safety and well-being of all residents who live in HRB's and be the lead point of responsibility for ensuring the gateway stages of high risk buildings are managed and approved by the Building Safety Regulator.

The Building Safety Manager will be required to communicate with contractors, estate-based staff, 3rd party contractors and residents on any issues that arise which may affect the safety of the building.

As a systematically driven process manager, the role holder will work to improve our existing compliance processes, the efficiency in the delivery of audit inspections and the capturing and assessment of business intelligence data.

Excellent knowledge of the compliance functions and the effective management and delivery of servicing and maintenance programmes will always be expected.

The post will be based in Warrington but travel to our other locations will be required.
