Our client specialises in cata and catb office fit out, Head office in Manchester city centre looking for a Business Development Manager

Role

A highly autonomous business development role, you'll be out and about networking with professionals to gain information and bring fit out opportunities to the table. You'll generate revenue by building and developing strong relationships with Commercial Agents, Project Managers, Architects and Landlords. This is all about who you know and, through the trust you build with them, what you find out. Bring back great information about potential new business opportunities and you'll be highly valued and well-rewarded. You'll spend most of your time out of the office. If you're outgoing and sociable as well as focused on the purpose of your work (with a good contact book), you'll love this job!

Knowledge: You'll have a good understanding of commercial property and a strong desire to develop your career within it; as the role is entirely focused on building relationships, the more relevant sales experience you have the better; you must have a good contact book within commercial property (people with whom you have ongoing relationships and with whom you could book meetings as soon as you start this job); you have probably studied real estate at college or university (and will have stayed in touch with your fellow students).

Attitude: Hungry to succeed, you'll be resilient, sociable, focused and confident.

Skills: A consultative sales style and an inquisitive mind; credible and articulate when presenting face to face; very sociable and with the stamina to be out for much of your time; professional and polished in all communications, written and spoken; proven ability to report on sales activity and manage a sales pipeline.

Habits: Well-organised; proactive in uncovering information; close attention to detail.

Package

On offer is a salary of £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience) plus commission that should take your earnings in Year 1 to £55-65,000. If you think you'd be a great match for this role=
