A Medium sized House Builder / Developer are seeking a Materials Buyer to join their commercial team in Oswestry. You will be working for an established and progressive organisation that have a quality focus and a strong pipeline of work.

The commercial team is thriving with over 6 live sites running out of the region at any one time. Your new role
The role will involve working alongside the Commercial Team assuming responsibility for up to 6 live sites at any one time. The role will involve dealing with the material requisitions, engaging with relevant suppliers and negotiating on prices.

You will need to closely monitor delivery dates and ensuring that supply agreements are adhered to. You will need to communicate with all stake holders and manage / amend call offs as required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to have demonstrable experience within a Buying role in the Construction industry, ideally in a Residential New Build Contractor. You will have a full UK driving license and the ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively. You will have strong computer literacy skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders in a professional manner.
