Job Description

I'm exclusively working with a bespoke house builder based in Stockport that require a Buyer to join their team. They are open to see people from an assistant to senior level but it's essential you having a house builder background.

They work on luxury homes from family to country estates across the world.

Responsibilities include:

* Processing orders from site requisitions
* Filing and despatching copy orders to relevant sites
* Filing of site requisitions after processing
* General enquires from Site regarding materials
* Dealing with telephone calls to/from suppliers
* Issuing drawings to various suppliers for quotations
* Assisting with requesting quotations from suppliers for sites in order to obtain best price
* Filing of general mail in Buying Dept.
* Invoice and order queries
* Carry out site visits
* Weekly reports, which include plant on hire and replacement orders.
* Compiling monthly reports, which include replacement orders, waste reports, bulk order costs and materials on site.
* Raising Office and Sales and Marketing Orders.
* Rebate Administrative ticking processes where appropriate
* Customer Care Orders/Trackers

Personal characteristics/qualifications/skills:

* Experience of working in an admin role
* Must carry a valid CSCS card
* Basic understanding of budgets and ability to prove basic financial control
* Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Office and Excel programs

They are prepared to be competitive for the right person and do work on some interesting projects.
