Building Careers UK are currently looking for a Civil Engineer, we are working with a client who is a family owned civil engineering company, they specialise in remediation, surfacing and civil engineering.

Over the years the client has built up an excellent relationship with major companies that range from housing and the construction industry, they employ nearly 400 staff members and now looking to add to the team.

The role:

* Working alongside Senior Engineer to ensure day to day running of the sites
* Allocate general and daily responsibilities
* Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
* Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
* Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
* Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
* Report on progress to foreman, engineers etc.



About you:

* Ideal background would be someone that has deal with houses, civil engineering and surfacing.
* Experience of working as a Civil Engineer
* Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Ability to communicate and report effectively
* Experience of AutoCad is essential
