Our client has a vacancy a Commercial Administrator to join their successful and growing team. This role will be workingfro their Warrington regional offices.

Purpose of the Role

As a Commercial Administrator, you will assist the Commercial department with all types of general administrative duties from preparing documents, filing scanning and all organisational needs. You will provide a timely, accurate and efficient administrative service and have excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

What skills and experience are essential to do this job?

* Experience working in a similar role elsewhere, ideally within a Commercial function although this is not essential

* The ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, effectively managing your time and completing tasks in order of priority

* You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and support your wider team without hesitation

* Proficiency with a variety of IT software, including Microsoft Office, and will have a strong command of Excel

* You will be resourceful and keen to learn and take on additional responsibilities within the department

What do I need to achieve and deliver to be effective in this job?

* Maintain the departmental filing system with payments information, including the filing of returned Subcontractor Order Contracts and maintaining the archive system and final accounts

* Log all invoices and timesheets relevant to the department, including logging and distributing sales variation orders

* Support wider departmental meetings by taking minutes and distributing these to the relevant parties along with any agreed actions

* Open and distribute all incoming post for the department, as well as organising all outgoing post

* Collate monthly reports for the department to present in Management/Board Meetings

* Establish sub-contractor files and audit these files on a regular basis, ensuring that they are compliant with Group policies and procedures

* Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as requested by your line manager, including the printing, laminating and posting of documents

To be successful in this role I may have experience in these areas:

* Experience working in a construction environment would be highly desirable, although it is not essential to the role

It would be an advantage if I have these qualifications:

* Minimum of GCSEs (including English and Maths)
