Job Description
My client is a Manchester based housing association who has properties across the Greater Manchester areas as well as some properties outside of the North West area. Due to an internal restructure, we will be looking for a Compliance Officer to work alongside the asset management and compliance team.
We are looking for a Compliance Officer who has worked in a compliance led role previously. This role will involve working alongside a Project Surveyor therefore previous experience of data collection, the ability to read and organise programmes and the ability to read surveys is essential. This role requires all information to be controlled effectively covering all areas of compliance. It will also be essential to have strong customer care and analytical skills.
Key Duties will include:
-Managing the risks of Fire Risk and Water Hygiene
-Working alongside fire authorities/local agents and contractors
-Setting schedules for managing fire risk assessments and water hygiene surveys
-Managing progress against programmes and ensuring accurate data recording
-Ensuring remedial works are planned and managed effectively
-Ensuring all processes/polices/procedures for dealing with Fire & Water Hygiene are documented
-Liaising with contractors.
-Processing invoices, checking orders- accurate and reliable input experience.
-Scheduling and monitoring of electrical servicing dates.
-Assisting in management information processing.
-Close liaison with contractors.
-Controlling of information and effectively gathering all data received.
Ideally you will have a fire safety management experience with a qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH)
