Job Description
We are recruiting currently on behalf of a well-established social housing association for a Compliance Surveyor. This particular role is to lead on landlord compliance areas SLH's assets. This includes providing an effective and customer focused compliance, servicing and repairs service and deputising for the duty holder, Senior Compliance Officer where appropriateKey Responsibilities:
* Ensure access to complete all compliance testing and remedial works by overseeing and where necessary arranging appointments for access, issuing standard letters and seeking legal intervention
* Ensure that all computerised systems are effectively utilised to process customer and contractor enquiries and accurately maintain all records in a timely manner
* Ensure all remedial action is raised in good time
* Ensure accurate data is maintained and entered onto compliance systems and supporting databases to maintain records in line with compliance requirements whilst ensuring effective communication can be provided to customers on programmes and remedial work
* Ensure all compliance programmes consider changes in stock to ensure legislative requirements are met
* Ensure that all asbestos survey records and other asbestos documentation is recorded and communicated with all persons who could potentially disturb it
* Achieve 100% compliance with all legislative requirements
* Raise any significant related incidents or concerns in good time
* Liaise effectively with internal and external customers and partners to facilitate good communication throughout the delivery of the responsive/planned works.
* Input information on to the asset management system and support the work of the Asset Management team. Assist with the collection of current stock data, the design of survey data and the validation of collected data
* Review and evaluate energy performance data of the housing stock to ensure compliance with legislation and to improve energy performance
Qualifications/Experience Required
* HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent experience.
* NEBOSH Fire Safety
* Asbestos Management P405
* Legionella Management 901
* Gas Safety Management Corgi Level 4
* IOSHH in Management Safety
* Experience of working within a housing environment
