Job Description
A privately owned Contractor and Developer based in Lancashire are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager for their Construction Division. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing several new build and refurbishment projects from £1m to £10m across the Commercial, Industrial,Retail and Leisure sectors.Reporting into the Construction Director, you will have overall responsibility for several construction projects throughout the North West region. You will be managing the construction teams in delivering a professional service to time, safety, quality and cost ensuring clients expectations are met and performance targets achieved.
Duties will include:
* Managing project teams
* Managing project budgets, labour requirements and project timescales
* Assisting with the procurement of new contract work
* Producing project plans and setting programme targets
* Working with the commercial team to ensure project financial targets are met
* Responsible for health, safety and environmental standards being implemented and maintained
* Development and training of staff
* Produce all necessary internal and external reports and ensure all operations are being carried out in line with standard company policy and procedures
You will need to demonstrate a stable career history, working for reputable main contractors, successfully delivering new build and refurbishment projects up to £10m. Project Managers looking to make that next step in their career will also be considered.
The company are offering a basic salary up to £65,000 plus company car or allowance, pension and healthcare. This is a great opportunity to work for an extremely busy contractor who have a strong order book of workload secured.
