Job Description

A leading, privately owned, construction company based in the North West are currently looking to appoint a Contracts Manager for their Small Works Division.

You will have overall responsibility for several new build, fit out and refurbishment projects throughout the North West up to the value of £3m. You will be managing the construction teams in delivering a professional service to time, safety, quality and cost ensuring clients expectations are met and performance targets achieved.

Duties will include:

* Managing project teams
* Producing project plans and setting programme targets
* Working with the commercial team to ensure project financial targets are met
* Responsible for health, safety and environmental standards being implemented and maintained
* Development and training of staff
* Produce all necessary internal and external reports and ensure all operations are being carried out in line with standard company policy and proceduresThe company are offering a basic salary up to £60,000 plus company car or allowance, pension and healthcare.

Suitable applicants will ideally have significant operational experience as a Contracts Manager working on projects up to £ 3m. An excellent team player with great communication skills is essential.
