Job Description

A highly successful Property Maintenance Contractor are currently looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager for their offices based in Preston. The company specialise in the delivery of Planned Maintenance and refurbishment projects within the Social Housing, NHS and Commercial sectors. The role will involve overseeing several Social Housing projects in Lancashire and Cumbria.

Duties will include:

* Managing project teams
* Managing project budgets, labour requirements and project timescales
* Assisting with the procurement of new contract work
* Manage the selection of subcontractors
* Producing project plans and setting programme targets
* Working with the commercial team to ensure project financial targets are met
* Responsible for health, safety and environmental standards being implemented and maintained
* Development and training of staff
* Produce all necessary internal and external reports and ensure all operations are being carried out in line with standard company policy and procedures

Key skills

* Previous experience of successfully delivering Planned Maintenance Contracts within Social Housing is essential
* Must hold a current SMSTS and CSCS card.
* Passive Fire Protection experience is desirable
* Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office.
