Our client are one of the UK's leading construction and development companies with a history of delivering large scale projects including Student Accommodation, Hotels and PRS schemes with values ranging from £20-£100m. They currently have a requirement for a Contracts Manager who has experience of high rise, mixed use PRS developments to join their team.

The role will sit between Divisional Construction Director and site based Project (or Senior Project) Managers with ultimate responsibility for the successful running and completion of up to 3 schemes at any one time.

Duties & responsibilities will include:

* Managing all site-based activities to ensure that the developments are delivered on time and to the required standards within budget.
* Regular visits to and liaison on live sites, nationwide.
* Co-ordinating site works and management of subcontractors resulting in a successful project completion.
* Provide accurate, timely reports to the Construction Director on matters relating to the performance of the project.
* Lead on all construction aspects of the division's operational focus, providing strategic and professional guidance to the Project Managers and other relevant managers and colleagues as required.
* Build effective partnering culture with the project teams and sub-contractors.

Certificates required:

* SMSTS certificate
* First Aid certificate
* Scaffolding certificate
* CSCS Card

This role is working across different sites so candidates need to be flexible with travel across the UK including overnight stays.
