Job Description

A Northwest housing association is searching for a Contracts Manager to join their team in the Cheshire area

Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager you will be responsible for leading the asset team to develop and deliver capital investment programmes, ensuring decent home standards are met and targets are achieved.

Duties include:

* Monitor and manage contractors to ensure work is delivered in line with KPI's
* Manage customer satisfaction by implementing improvements where necessary
* Ensure that assets are maintained and improved to deliver affordable housing
* Effectively liaise with internal teams and tenants to develop programmes and commitments that will improve homes and meet contractor specifications
* Mange budgets
* Carry out site inspections, gathering data on stock and identifying defects.#
* Manage disrepair claims
* Follow all health and safety and compliance legislations

Essential criteria:

* Previous management experience within the construction industry
* Evidence of implementing new ideas and processes
* Knowledge in Health and Safety
* IT and organisational skills
* Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively

This is a temporary with the potential to go permanent offering a competitive rate
