Job Description

A leading Civil Engineering contractor currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their business. The company deliver a wide range of projects up to £10m including highways, infrastructure, water, public realm, structures and earthworks.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work alongside 3 other Contracts Managers overseeing projects throughout the North West and occasionally the Yorkshire region.



Contracts Manager role to include:

* Managing project teams to ensure successful completion of projects
* Ensure that site teams implement the site Safety Action Plan
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and project management teams
* Production of monthly management reports on status of each project.
* Working with the commercial team to ensure project financial targets are met
* Attend client meetings and regularly liaise with clients to ensure expectations are met
* Participate in staff career development and training

You will have extensive experience in managing a broad range of civil engineering projects and have a strong knowledge of NEC contracts and Design & Build projects.

Qualifications & Training required:

* Appropriate industry qualification e.g. BSc, HNC or NVQ4.
* Preferably MCIOB or working towards.
* CSCS Site Managers card.
* SMSTS qualification.

The role offers a basic salary up to £70,000 plus car allowance or company car, and an attractive benefits package.
