Disrepair Surveyor

Job Description

- You will be instructed to undertake surveys of domestic properties and compile evidence in order to produce pt35 CPR (civil procedure rules) compliant reports in relation to housing disrepair matters.

- Surveys will be undertaken independently or jointly with opposing expert witnesses depending upon client instructions. As part of the reports you will draw up schedules of work to enable remedial actions to be issued to contractors to remedy alleged disrepair issues.

- Liaise with clients at all stages of the claim and ensure any legal agreements and Court issued directions are complied with.

- Where required in contested litigation attend Court and give oral evidence in support of your written report.

- In addition provide technical advice and guidance where requested by clients and provide building surveying services, but not limited to undertaking surveys, producing designs and specifications of works, dilapidations reports, ordering, supervising & inspecting works and providing reports
