Fire Risk Surveyor

Job Description

Building Careers are working with a North West housing provider as they look to appoint a Fire Risk Surveyor on an interim contract

Operational responsibility for at least two out of the six Homes Standard main compliance areas and familiarity with the other areas as defined in detailed / defined compliance frameworks.



Identify and assist the business to identify, assess and govern landlord compliance risk



* Ensure 100% compliance in all areas of responsibility by managing and undertaking all periodic inspections required either directly or via specialist consultants.
* Support the management of all remedial works required under areas of responsibility, managing contractor performance and undertaking post inspections of works if required.
* Compliance monitoring and reporting to provide assurance as to the implementation of policies and procedures.
* Act as a resource of technical expertise for all areas of responsibility, keeping up with all changes in legislation, reviewing policies and undertaking area-specific training as required.
