Job Description

My client are a leading regional contractor who have a strong reputation delivering quality construction projects throughout the North of England. They have a strong reputation for delivering successful schemes in the new build, refurbishment and fit-out sectors throughout the industry. Schemes can range throughout commercial contracting, industrial buildings, new build homes, high-rise residential and private healthcare.

They currently have a requirement to add a General Foreman to their management teams, initially to work on a £25m new build scheme in Liverpool.

The scheme is a mixed-use apartment scheme comprising of over 400 beds with associated retail and commercial units.

The General Foreman will be reporting to the Senior Site and Project Managers, overseeing multiple trades to ensure successful completion of the scheme to time and budget. You will lean on a trade background to oversee such works and ensure quality standards are adhered to. You will oversee Health and Safety accross site but also take ownership of toolbox talks and inductions.

Key requirements;

* CSCS card
* SMSTS/SSSTS
* First Aid
* Previous experience on similar residential schemes
* Relevant experience managing multiple trades and packages of work.
