Job Description

My client, a successful B2B business in Manchester - is recruiting a Health & Safety Administrator to join their team. This role will report into the Managing Director supporting the health & safety function on day to day duties. Applicants must have recent experience working in a similar health & safety role, working with RAM's, CPP's and health & safety documents.. Key Responsibilities:

This role will be reporting into the MD

Producing RAMS (risk and method statements)

Strong computer skills for completing documents such as PQQ'S from new and existing clients

Organising training and new employee inductions

Organising pre site customer inductions

Maintaining training logs and insurance documents

Re-issue documents to existing clients upon renewal

Maintaining a training matrix on all current staff

Liaising with external training companies to train staff up to a good standard and maintain the certification

Carry out tool box talks and briefings on all staff

Regularly carry out site visits to complete Health and Safety inspections throughout the country

Inspection procedure is provided externally, liaising with external company on a day to day basis

Dealing with accidents, incidents/investigations

Maintaining the businesses Health and Safety app provided by an external company

Issuing all documents to employees

Working with site supervisor to make sure site visits and tool box talks are completed to standard

This will be managing all data documentation requirements for over 100 staff throughout 3 different business areas

Updating and amending data on in house system

Skills Required:

Must have recent experience of working in a similar health & safety role, dealing with ppq's, confidential documents and health & safety processes

Experience of managing third party relationships is desirable ie, Peninsula

Must have Risk and method statement experience

Dealing with accidents, incidents/investigations

Experience of working with compliance documents

Able to show evidence of working with and implementing procedures and processes

Able to work to administration & data management deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work alone and as part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft office word, excel, outlook

* Salary up to £32k, depending on experience
* Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm (office based)
