Job Description

Health and Safety Business Partner- £34- £42k

We have a permanent opportunity with hybrid working, to work for a Northwest based Housing Association.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for Health and Safety to work within an established and proactive health and safety team. This position will involve ensuring that colleagues have the right skills and training, driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice in all areas of health and safety across their business areas.

Duties will include:

* Being responsible for the provision of technical advice and support, delivering training across the full range of SHE related activities
* Interacting with regulators and suppliers, as well as networking with a broad range of other stakeholders
* Implementing strategies and monitoring current and new legislation- adapting policies accordingly
* Carrying out audits and site inspections
* Designing and implementing bespoke training
* Developing processes and systems which meet the Housing Groups statutory responsibilities- recording, monitoring and reporting on the Groups health, safety and environmental activities
* Develop management systems to achieve and maintain ISO14001 and BS OHSAS18001
* Managing investigations and analysis of issues.

Essential Criteria:

* NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
* Graduate member of IOSH or working towards
* Application of legislative and practical H&S standards
* Knowledge of CDM regulations
* Experience in management and improving services and performance.
