As an Health and Safety Advisor you will have an opportunity to;

* Help to support and influence the improvement of health and safety practices throughout the organisation
* Provide advice and find solutions to help resolve individual and/or team-based issues and problems
* Take the lead to improve processes and practices, ensuring they are compliant with legislation and best practice
* Build excellent working relationships with managers and colleagues to encourage and influence a proactive approach to safety management

We are looking for someone with:

* A proven track record of achievement working as a Health and Safety Advisor or experience in a similar role
* Experience in a multi-site diverse organisation, ideally with an understanding of the housing sector.
* A good knowledge of health and safety practices and law
* Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, or higher
* Have a varied background in Health and Safety, INCLUDING some construction based activity
