Our client provides national construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector customers across a comprehensive range of markets.
Opportunity:
They have a fantastic opportunity within their Water business for an ambitious, driven individual who is already an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to be based out of our established Warrington offices.
The candidate will be a commercially astute individual with good negotiation skills, and ideally have previous commercial experience having been involved in a significant civils project as well as knowledge of sub contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the commercial team on this you will support commercial matters for the project including
* Procurement
* Financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow, etc.
* Contract compliance
* Meeting / liaison with client / subcontract / supply chain as necessary
AMP, to improve and maintain its assets during the period 2020 -2025.
Our clients scope and remit is to provide solutions to the need of the customer and client to ensure the safe operation and working water systems.
Designs will be developed with the design partners from the intervention brief through to construction phase and handover.
Individual Project values can range from £70k to £20million which will form part of the overall investment figure. Examples of projects are detailed below but not limited to:-
* Above and Below Ground Storage Tanks
* Construction of new Treatment Works
* Extension of Treatment Works
* Construction of new Surface Water and Foul Water Pipelines and Manholes
* New Pumping Stations
* CSO's
* Enabling works
* Roadwork's & footpaths
