Job Description
What will you do day-today?* Lead, motivate and coach managers and their teams. Develop and implement operational objectives underpin the Compliance Strategy and Framework and the Group's overall strategic objectives. Oversee the development and implementation of Compliance Management policies, procedures and guidance also effective and timely programme of inspections, servicing, repairs and risk mitigation activity. You will be expected to produce reports. Lead in all relevant statutory compliance contracts.
* Investigate any complaints. Manage stakeholders effectively confident in influencing, negotiating and building constructive working relationships to effectively deliver the Group's Compliance Strategy. Oversee budgets ensuring all Compliance expenditure is robustly managed in line with the Group's financial controls.
* Undertake the role of responsible person in relation to the Group's statutory obligations for Fire Safety and Mechanical and Electrical systems.
* Support the Head of Property Compliance in developing the approach to Fire Safety and the management of Mechanical and Electrical systems, leading a small number of teams to ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations, including the development and implementation of an effective risk management approach to compliance across the Group
Who are we looking for?

We are looking to engage suitably experienced individuals with who have relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management knowledge, expertise and qualifications. As a senior manager you should be able to demonstrate that you have experience in leading and managing a team in Fire Safety and Mechanical and Electrical systems. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of building strong working relationships. A proven track record of business development in complex multi-site organisation, being able to produce reports, manage contracts, procurement activity adhering to budgets, manage risk and compliance.
