Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are recruiting currently on behalf of a well-established Construction contractor for a Mechanical / Electrical Project Engineer. This particular company specialise in in commercial projects, particularly in education, healthcare, residential and leisure sectors. This role will be accountable for delivery of the Mechanical / Electrical elements of their projects and provide the resources required for natural growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

* Designing and documenting Electrical or Mechanical building services
* Coordinating between Electrical, Mechanical and quality assurance
* Effectively manage sub-contractors ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed in line with RAM's and contract SLA's.
* Ensure areas of responsibility allocated to you are delivered on time, within budget to agreed standards
* Identify risks and ensure mitigation measures are put in place.
* Design management - attendance at design team meetings
* Commissioning and final handover, take responsibility for activities allocated to you to ensure this is done effectively

Qualifications/Experience Required

* Significant building services engineering experience in a construction environment.
* HND, HNC or equivalent Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical qualification
* HVAC Experience
* Relevant site cards (CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS)
