Job Title: Site Manager (Bespoke Housing)
Location: Chester

With over 50 years' experience in house building, this developer have built themselves a fantastic reputation within the housing sector, building prestigious houses in sought after locations.

My client is currently in the market for a number one site manager to manage their bespoke development in Chester.
You will manage the build of a brand new development of 12 houses in Chester. This is not a volume housing developer; my client has 5 live sites and 3 due to start in the near future and their biggest development is circa 22 units. My client has never built the same house twice, each are bespoke and individually tailored. The average house price for their upcoming development is £400,000.

My client will offer successful candidates a salary of up to £50k plus competitive package.

The successful candidate will be able to manage the site effectively, offering effective problem solving solutions. You will need to be a hands-on manager with a great technical knowledge. This company has a low staff turnover and look after their employee's well. My client is looking for someone who will be committed to the company and is looking for longevity from their next move. Managers from a trade's background will have an advantage in the selection process for this role.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:
New build residential experience is essential for the role
Previous experience working for bespoke house builders is preferable

Qualifications and training - essential

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Qualifications and training - desirable

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate
Experience

Trade experience and site experience preferable
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
