Job Description

A long- established Building Contractor who deliver a range of refurbishment and new build projects for both public and private sector clients are looking to recruit a Project Manager to deliver a full refurbishment of an occupied retirement village in Sheffield valued at £15m.

Reporting into a Contracts Manager, the role of the Project Manager will include:



* Responsibility for the management, planning, programming & phasing of the project.
* Manage the site team including 2 Site Managers, Assistant Site Manager, and a resident liaison officer
* Acting as the Client point of contact on site
* Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
* Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and designers
* To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise
* Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
* Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followed

Previous experience of delivering large refurbishment projects within 'live environments' is essential..
