Job Description

A highly successful Building and Maintenance Contractor are currently looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to manage refurbishments projects, predominantly for Healthcare clients in Manchester.

Reporting into an Operations Manager you will have full responsibility for several "live" measured term refurbishment projects.

Project Manager responsibilities to include:

* Responsibility for the management, planning, programming & phasing of the project.
* Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it
* Acting as the Client point of contact on site
* Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
* Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and designers
* To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise
* Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
* Control individual Site budgets
* Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followed

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of successfully delivering refurbishment projects in "live environments" Previous experience of working for NHS clients is also desirable. You will also be customer focused, results driven, Health & Safety conscious and proficient in the use of MS Office

The company will offer a salary up to £50,000 plus car allowance, 26 days holidays, company pension, and other company benefits.
