Project Manager
Job Description
An opportunity has come up for an experienced Housing Senior Site / Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a 70 unit new build housing scheme, near Northwich in Cheshire. The site in question had a previous developer build out the first 30 houses, before falling into administration and being removed from the scheme by the House Association client. Subsequently, my client - a long-standing and well respected developer in their own right - have been appointed to complete the remaining 70 houses.
They've a generous 18 month programme agreed with the House Association which should see more than enough time to rectify existing issues left by the previous developer and build out the remaining 70 units - all traditional build units.
The wider site in total has five two-bedroom terraced homes, 18 three-bedroom terraced, 20 three-bedroom semi-detached, 15 three-bedroom semi-detached with garage, 31 three-bedroom detached with garage, and 19 four-bedroom detached with garage.
Given the nature of the scheme, having already been started by one contractor and being delivered for Housing Association, they're looking for an experienced Project Manager; preferably someone with experience of delivering for HA or external client, as opposed to solely open market housing schemes.
You'll report to a visiting Director with full responsibility for the scheme, supported by a site based QS and resident Assistant Site Manager.
On offer is a negotiable salary of between £50k & £60k + package and a strong pipeline of work in Cheshire, Greater Manchester & Lancashire.
