Project Manager-Social Housing

A long established main contractor based in Greater Manchester are looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their experienced management team. The company work throughout the North West and Yorkshire delivering domestic refurbishment projects within the Social Housing sector.

The role will initially involve overseeing several energy efficiency schemes including boiler installations. Within the role you will provide operational support and be responsible for the management of several projects.

* Responsibility for the management, planning and programming of the projects.
* Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it
* Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
* Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and their representatives
* To monitor the progress of the projects and manage issues as they arise
* Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
* Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followed

To be considered for this role you must have experience of managing a range of social housing refurbishments projects and ideally have some knowledge of managing energy efficiency schemes.
