Job Description

I am recruiting on behalf of my client who provides a fully integrated range of professional and contracting services. They provide a full range of specialist services to the built environment for the past 35 years, working alongside some of the UK's premier brands and leading blue chip organisations.

Working extensively across the commercial, banking and finance, public and community, education, retail and leisure sectors. Utilising their experience to develop bespoke solutions, responding to the changing needs of clients and their customers and as a result, more than 70% of revenue is generated from ongoing strategic partnerships and frameworks.

* Recruitment Need: Project Manager
* Location: Wakefield. New build school - £6m.
* Start date: Circa September 2018
* The role will be to motivate and manage the site team, evaluating and influencing performance of sub-contractors, creating and revising programmes as required, design team co-ordination, health and safety management, reporting to the main board on progress, identifying and solving resource issues, chairing design and progress meetings with the site teams and the client.
* This person must be a very experienced individual with experience in project managing new builds ideally of schools for the ESFA/BSF in a live environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* From a construction background you will be experienced in delivering new build schools under the BSF banner.
* Experience working for both contractors and clients alike.
* Experienced in providing services within a team of project/cost managers and building surveyors and possess a good team player ethos.
* Appreciation of commercial surveying duties.
* Ideally HNC/HND qualified in a relevant construction subject.
* Hold relevant CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid certifications.
* Be IT literate with an understanding of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
