Our client a successful construction contractor are looking for an experienced Purchase ledger to join their team based in Warrington on a permanent basis.



The right candidate will have previous experience working from a construction or subcontractor background and ideally with knowledge of CIS.

The role



Checking invoices/credit notes, seek approval by the relevant manager

Ensure that all invoices/credit notes are approved by the relevant manager

Matching purchase invoices to delivery notes and inputting purchase invoices onto bespoke construction software, training will be provided

Reconciling purchase ledger on a monthly basis

Producing supplier payment runs

Processing weekly payroll for small number of labourers

Processing subcontractor payment certificates and looking after the CIS

Answering supplier calls

Liaise with auditors where necessary

Construction industry and payroll experience will be an advantage

Reporting to the Financial Controller



Salary and remuneration

This is a permanent position on a full time basis.



Monday - Friday flexible starts times.



May have to work occasionally on Saturday's



Salary is between £18,000-£22,000
