Quantity Surveyor - House Builder

Job Description

One of the UK's largest and most reputable house builders are currently in the market for a Quantity Surveyor. This position has arose due to a number of internal promotions within the company.

This multi-award winning house builder have been established for over 50 years and currently turnover in excess of £150 million. Over many years my client has consistently produced top quality houses and are a dominant force within the housing sector. Year on year my client win multiple NHBC awards and are recognised as a 5* house builder.

You will be joining an extremely strong commercial team with many years of experience. The commercial team get on very well and there is a fantastic working environment in the office. The successful candidate will be a team player who shows clear drive and ambition to succeed and contribute their knowledge and experience to the company. Candidates with house building experience working directly for a national house builder will have an advantage over other applications.

My client will provide the right candidate with a rewarding salary plus a competitive package.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

Ability to work remotely

First rate communication and influencing skills

Good at developing relationships

Flexible - able to work at all levels and at hands on level

Proven written communication skills

Excellent level of numeracy

Computer literate in MS Office

Previous experience of building relationships with clients/customers

IT skills including Microsoft packages (advanced knowledge)

Previous experience working for a national house builder
