Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor

Job Description

Our client builds, refurbish and maintains, manages and regenerate places to improve economic and social outcomes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team. The ultimate purpose of the Quantity Surveyor is to provide effective cost management and ensure projects are completed within budget.

Project values up to £3m in value across a broad range of build sectors.

You will be involved in supply chain procurement, tendering and estimating, managing monthly project cost and producing reports. Along with providing advice to the management team, ensuring the commercial targets are achieved; related to project cost, quality and programme.

You will provide commercial expertise in the delivery of each contract and implement wherever possible value engineering solutions & strategy to optimise profit and efficiency for the business.
