Job Description
Renewals and Improvement Team LeaderNorth Wales - Hybrid and Office based - Penygroes area
Building Careers are currently working in partnership with a North Wales based housing association to recruit a Renewals and Improvement Team Leader. With 2 direct reports, this role will focus on managing the housing renovation and improvement programme and budget as well as overseeing contractor performance in terms of cost, work completion and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
* Effectively leading and day to day management of a team of Technical Officers.
* Prioritising work and organising all programmes of work.
* Liaising with customers and contractors as well as managing complaints.
* Attending regular contractor meetings and review meetings.
* Arranging work inspections and negotiation of price.
* Performance management of supply chain - supplying data to the management team to review.
* Monitoring customer satisfaction ratings, making where necessary improvements.
* Stock condition reporting, analysis, and interpretation of data.
* Attending stakeholder events and meetings reporting on budgets and data.
* Budget management and reporting.
Experience Required:
* Prioritizing and programming work within housing
* Budget management
* Customer Care skills and experience
* Housing regulations and risk management
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* It will be essential to have a HNC or equivalent and a full clean driving license.
Ideally we are looking for a Welsh speaking professional who has worked within social housing previously.
