Job Description

Our client is a leading Northwest Contractor who are looking for a Repairs Manager to join their team in the Merseyside area.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, this position is responsible for delivering a high-quality repairs service-providing value for money, and ensuring compliance with all legislation and regulations. This role will involve leading a team delivering responsive repairs across the local area.

This role will involve:

* Managing a team of operatives and subcontractors
* Act as the main point of contact for the customer in relation to repairs and maintenance
* Develop and monitor performance, ensuring continual improvements in customer satisfaction
* Effectively managing and motivating a team of 20+ operatives

Essential Criteria:

* Previous experience of managing and leading a repairs and maintenance team within social housing
* Proven management and IT skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and communicate effectively
* A proven relationship builder and influencer with the senior management team and stakeholders.
