Exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor at an expanding National Multi-Disciplined Consultancy based in the outskirts of Manchester.

Having recently focussed their expansion on their flourishing London and Liverpool offices, my client are now looking to expand their team in their flagship Manchester office. Located in a strategically accessible location outside of the City Centre, access to their office is an easy commute from Liverpool, Warrington or Manchester itself. On-site parking is available and the offices are relatively new, with the layout and condition of the offices leading you to believe that they were newer than is true. The organisation have an extremely tight knit atmosphere with regular team building activities including days out and group meals and evenings out within each office.

Since expanding their Liverpool and London offices, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to build up a team of Quantity Surveyors from the Manchester office. They have recently lost their Senior Quantity Surveyor based from Manchester due to retirement, and with the current market crying out for Quantity Surveyors, they have decided the time is right to build a team based in Manchester.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the decision making of which talented individuals join their team and will have the freedom to move the business in whichever way they see fit. The organisation mainly work in the Residential, Housing and Healthcare sectors and therefore they would have preference of a candidate with a similar background. Someone who has had experience of setting up a team and managing personnel would be preferred but is not essential, a candidate who is ambitious, driven and dynamic enough to diversify their skills will be accepted. A candidate with MRICS status would also be preferred.
