Groundwork's Quantity or Senior Quantity Surveyor required



Our client is an award winning civil engineering and building company specialising in infrastructure, groundwork's and associated building services undertaking projects with a value range from £50,000 to £10m. Our client offers a range of services to an exceptionally high standard including house building, commercial development and design and build. You will be employed as an experienced groundwork's Quantity Surveyor; you will be responsible for several contracts values varying from £10k to £10m. You will be carrying out the role of Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor as required.



Contracts covered will include, Roads Sewers & Groundwork's on new build housing sites, Groundwork's & Civil on nursing homes Groundwork's and Civil on Commercial sites, factories & schools.



Client list include Wates Contracting, Balfour Beattie, Laing O Rourke, Carillion amongst others.



Your responsibilities will include:



 Achieving target dates

 Accounts Inc. Best practise to maximise profitability

 Liaise between various departments within the business

 Procurement of subcontractors and cost analysis

 Report to the Director, collating detailed contract profits & loss reports and analysis, advise on projected workloads based on client programmes

 Assist in training of Assistant Surveyor

 Taking contracts through from inception through to final account agreement.

 Liaising with clients on contractual resolution matters.
