Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Our client is a well-established residential developer, specialising in new build residential properties. We are currently expanding and are looking to enhance our close-knit, small team.

We are looking for a surveyor to join the company, the role will be split between our office and various sites and would ideally suit someone with a flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities to include:

* Preparation of tender/ build cost estimates.
* Production of bill of quantities for new projects.
* Procurement of materials/ sub-contractors.
* Analysis and negotiation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers.
* Cost analysis and control.
* Client interaction during course of projects, including involvement with monitoring surveyor.
* Liaison with site mangers and other staff.
* Collation and reconciliation of costs and production of monthly financial reports.
* Final accounts.

Requirements:

* Appropriate qualifications are desirable but not essential.
* Possess a good experience of undertaking a similar role, particularly constructing new-build residential properties.
* Knowledge of JCT contracts and/ or similar would be useful.
* Comprehensive understanding of Excel and other appropriate IT systems.
* Professional and confident approach to the role.
