Job Title: Senior Site Manager (5* national house builder)

Location: Shavington

Salary: Circa £55k + package (Other benefits Inc. discretionary yearly bonus, car allowance, pension, private health care, gym membership and 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays)

One of the UK's largest and most reputable house builders are currently in the market for a Senior Site Manager.

This multi-award winning house builder have been established for over 50 years and currently turnover in excess of £150 million. Over many years my client has consistently produced top quality houses and are a dominant force within the housing sector. Year on year my client and their Site Managers pick up multiple NHBC awards reflecting the consistency of the quality of build.

The vacancy for a Senior Site Manager has emerged due to the growth and expansion of the company. Like many others in the industry my client is extremely busy with 23 live sites at present and another 8 more sites due to start.

The upcoming site is in Preston and is a brand new timber frame volume housing development; therefore, some experience with timber frame build is preferable. This development will take circa 2 years to build. All sites are equipped with the appropriate level of resources and tradespeople to help you achieve these targets.

You will be joining a fantastic and highly skilled team whose years of knowledge and experience will be on hand should you require it. Equally you will be expected to contribute your knowledge and experience back to the team.

You will be an ambitious and driven site manager and will take immense pride in the job. My client is looking for an individual who is eager to achieve NHBC awards as well as someone who takes pride in working for the company. You will be able to manage the site effectively, offering effective problem solving solutions and able to find the perfect balance between delivering quantity and quality.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

New build residential experience is essential for the role

Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable

Able to embrace training

Attention to detail

Flexible

Enthusiastic

Meeting deadlines

Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Ability to motivate and support staff

Strong communication skills



Qualifications and training - essential

Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Valid SMSTS certificate

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level



Qualifications and training - desirable

Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar



Experience

Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation

Trade experience and site experience preferable



Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
