Site Engineer

Job Description

A Regional Building Contractor are looking to appoint a Site Engineer for projects throughout the North West. The company deliver new build and refurbishment projects across Education, Health, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Retail up to the value of £15m.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Undertake surveying and setting out duties.
* Supporting site management team with aspects of day to day operations
* Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
* Check drawings and quantities.
* QA where required
* Liaising with sub-contractors
* Compile detailed site records for future reference.
* Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

Experience

* Previous Setting out experience on a range of building projects
* Minimum HNC in a relevant discipline
* SMSTS Certificate is desirable
* Knowledge of relevant building and health and safety legislation
* Able to read measurements accurately and interpret technical data
* Good verbal and written communication skills
