Job Description

My client is a social housing provider operating within the Cheshire and Merseyside areas. The majority of their work is within planned work and reactive maintenance, working on schemes such as Fire Stop work, internal and external work programmes such as kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, roofing schemes, grounds maintenance projects. Their head office is in Cheshire and they currently have an ongoing temporary position for a Site Manager.

Working in the social housing sector, this business is proud of their strong customer satisfaction rating and are looking for operational managers who excel in providing strong customer care and effective management of schemes for both the housing association, the contractors and the customers.

Due to changes within their business areas, we are offering ongoing temporary contracts.

Our client is looking for a Site Manager who has previously worked for a social housing contractor or client and has hands on experience of managing fire risk contracts. This contract would involve working on low rise blocks, replacing windows/doors, ensuring FRA work is being carried out to current regulations and standards. You will be working with and managing all sub-contractors on site.

You will be asked to have a proactive role in management of onsite safety, project progress deadlines, budgets and subcontractors. You must have good communicational skills and be able to develop first-class client relationships. In addition, successful candidates will have:

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS
* Fire Marshall
* Scaffold Management
* Asbestos Management 2 day
* Available references

Roles and responsibilities will include…

* Attending site progress meetings
* Liaising with clients and their representative
* Ensure all works are signed off by the client
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Produce method statements and risk assessment
* On time, in budget, snag free delivery
* Produce QA reports on final completion alongside Health and Safety File.
