Job Description
Our client is a £20m North West based construction company predominately delivering refurbishments contracts across various sectors including education, health and commercial and leisure. They strive to provide excellent customer service whilst offering value for money which is evident due to the fact the vast majority of contracts are undertaken via repeat business. They are currently seeking to appoint two Site Managers (freelance or permanent considered) to join the team and work on small works projects ranging from £250k to £1 million.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
·Health & Safety. A wide knowledge of construction/building details & processes & contractual awareness.
·Daily deployment, scheduling and management of operatives/trades and sub-contractors.
·Ensuring health and safety compliance is maintained at all times on sites and work locations.
·Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns.
·Liaising with Consultants & Inspectors
·Ensuring jobs are completed within priority and on budget.
·Ensuring quality control of operatives/trade and sub-contractors.
Candidates ideally should have a trade / skilled background and hold relevant certification including:
·SMSTS or SSSTS
·First Aid
·CSCS Card
